Although we are going to spend our holidays marked by the virus, it shouldn´t affect our Christmas spirit. It´s the season when we should all put up a Christmas tree, decorate the house, prepare the traditional food and listen to Christmas carols. What’s more, we can see and talk to our family and friends through video calls.
Focusing on the coronavirus, there are some guidelines we should all follow in order to prevent the spread of the virus these holidays. On the one hand, we must celebrate Christmas Eve dinner only with our family members and with a maximum of 10 people. In addition, authorities recommend not to visit relatives or friends for our own safety and protection. On the other hand, we have to keep social distancing, wear face masks and wash our hands frequently.
In conclusion, it is clear that this Christmas will be unlike any other in our history. In order to spend the best and the safest Christmas, we have to do things properly and comply with the rules set by the authorities. The safest celebration of these winter holidays is to stay home.
